You can take an ITIL 5 class from a lot of training providers.
So why take yours with Ashford Global Training?
That’s a fair question.
We’re not going to pretend we’re the only company offering ITIL 5 training. We’re not. What we can tell you is what we believe makes an Ashford Global ITIL 5 virtual instructor-led live class different—and why we think those differences matter.
We Keep Our Public Classes Small
For our 2026 public ITIL 5 classes, we cap enrollment at 12 students.
That’s intentional.
We don’t want you sitting in a virtual classroom with dozens of other people while the instructor talks at you for three days. A smaller class gives you more opportunities to ask questions, participate in discussions, and connect the ITIL 5 concepts to the work you actually do.
And there’s another side to having a small class: you actually get through the material.
We’ve all been in training where there are so many people asking so many questions that you wonder if you’re ever going to make it through the syllabus.
Questions are good. We encourage them.
But when there are too many people in a class, the questions can become the class. Suddenly, you’re halfway through the day and wondering where the rest of the material went.
With a smaller class, our instructors can answer questions, have meaningful discussions, and still keep the class moving.
That’s one of the reasons we keep our public classes small.
ITIL 5 Doesn’t Have to Be Boring
Let’s be honest: ITIL has a lot of terminology.
There are concepts to learn, practices to understand, and an exam to prepare for. That doesn’t mean the class itself needs to feel like someone is reading a glossary to you.
Our award-winning instructors make our classes interesting, entertaining, and sometimes even funny.
And when we say funny, we mean IT funny.
In other words, our instructors have walked the walk.
Before becoming Ashford Global ITIL instructors, they were IT professionals themselves. They’ve worked in the world we’re teaching you about. They’ve dealt with service management, supported users, sat through the meetings, dealt with the processes, and experienced what happens when those perfectly good processes become… complicated.
They’re not teaching ITIL 5 from a textbook alone. They’re bringing professional experience into the classroom.
We take the subject seriously.
We just don’t believe you have to be miserable while learning it.
Yes, We Have Cats.
Here at Ashford Global, we love cats.
Yes. The meow-meow kind.
And because we’re Ashford, we’ve managed to work them into our ITIL 5 training, too.
Many of our training slides feature cartoon cats acting as IT professionals.
Yes, really.
Why?
Because learning is easier when you’re engaged, and sometimes a cartoon cat dealing with an IT service management problem makes a concept a lot more memorable.
But our love of cats doesn’t stop at the classroom.
Ashford Global also donates our time and money to local cat shelters in the Central Florida area. Supporting cats and the organizations that care for them is something that’s genuinely important to us.
So when you see a cartoon cat showing up in one of our ITIL 5 slides, know that it’s not just a marketing gimmick.
We really do love cats.
We don’t use the cats instead of teaching the material. We use them because we believe professional training can have a personality.
And frankly, the cats have excellent ITIL instincts.
We Focus on Practical, Real-World Application
ITIL 5 isn’t just a collection of definitions you need to memorize long enough to pass an exam.
The real value comes from understanding how the concepts can be applied in an organization.
That’s why our training focuses on practical, real-world application. We connect ITIL 5 concepts to situations professionals can recognize from their own work.
Our instructors bring extensive professional experience into the classroom, helping students understand not only what ITIL 5 says, but how those concepts can work in the real world.
That’s also why our courses include practical case studies.
Instead of simply memorizing terminology, you’ll have opportunities to think through ITIL 5 concepts in context.
That’s the difference between knowing an answer and understanding why the answer is correct.
A Comprehensive Learning Experience
Our ITIL 5 training is designed to be more than a presentation followed by an exam.
Students receive a comprehensive learning experience that includes practical case studies, discussions, practice quizzes, exam review, and opportunities to ask questions throughout the course.
The goal is to give you multiple ways to learn and reinforce the material.
You’ll encounter the concepts during instruction, apply them through examples and case studies, test your understanding with practice quizzes, and prepare for the certification exam through dedicated exam review and full-length mock exams.
We want you to understand the material—not just recognize a definition when you see it.
Official ITIL 5 Course Materials Are Included
Your training includes the official ITIL 5 course materials needed for the class.
We also provide practical course materials designed to support your learning experience.
Our goal is simple: give you the resources you need to learn the material, practice what you’ve learned, and prepare for the certification exam.
Your Exam Voucher Is Included
We don’t believe you should have to piece together your training and exam separately.
Your ITIL 5 exam voucher is included with your Ashford Global training.
That means your training experience includes both the instruction and the opportunity to take the certification exam.
Four Full-Length ITIL 5 Mock Exams
Want to know what you’re getting yourself into before exam day?
We’ve got you covered.
Our training includes four full-length, 40-question ITIL 5 mock exams.
These aren’t just quick practice questions. They’re designed to give you an opportunity to test your knowledge and become familiar with answering a full set of exam-style questions.
You’ll also receive practice quizzes throughout the course, giving you additional opportunities to check your understanding as you learn.
The goal isn’t to memorize four practice tests.
The goal is to identify where you understand the material and where you may need to spend a little more time before taking the real exam.
Exam Review Is Included
Before you sit for the certification exam, we’ll spend time reviewing the material and focusing on the areas you need to understand.
The goal isn’t simply to tell you, “Good luck!”
We want you to walk into the exam with a better understanding of the material and a clearer idea of what to expect.
Our Exam Confidence Promise: Take 2 Included
We’re confident in our training.
But we also know that sometimes things happen. You can study hard, understand the material, and still have a bad exam day.
That’s why we offer our Exam Confidence Promise — Take 2 Included.
If you do not pass your first exam attempt, you receive a second exam attempt.
If you pass your first attempt, congratulations—you’ve accomplished what you came to do. There is no need for a second attempt.
PeopleCert provides the applicable expiration information for your exam voucher and attempt.
We Don’t Disappear When Class Ends
Learning doesn’t necessarily stop when the virtual classroom closes.
Students have access to instructor support via email after class, giving you an opportunity to follow up with questions related to your training.
Because sometimes the question you think of happens three hours after class ends.
Or three days later.
Or, inevitably, while you’re studying for the exam.
We’re here to help.
Guaranteed-to-Run Public Classes
Nobody wants to rearrange their schedule, make plans, and prepare for training only to find out that the class has been cancelled because there weren’t enough students.
Our public ITIL 5 classes are Guaranteed-to-Run (GTR).
When you register for a GTR class, you can make your plans with confidence that the class is going to happen.
Need Training for Your Organization?
Public classes aren’t always the best solution.
If you’re looking to train a team, department, or larger group of employees, private group training is available.
Private training provides an opportunity to focus the learning experience around your organization’s needs and the challenges your team actually faces.
If you’re interested in training multiple people, contact Ashford Global Training to discuss your organization’s requirements.
So… Why Ashford?
Ultimately, you have choices.
You can take an ITIL 5 course from many different providers.
What we believe makes Ashford Global Training different is the combination of experienced instructors, practical application, small public classes, comprehensive learning resources, practical case studies, exam preparation, and a genuinely human approach to teaching.
We’re not interested in simply getting you through three days of training.
We want you to understand ITIL 5.
We want you to be prepared for the exam.
We want you to be able to connect what you’re learning to the work you actually do.
And yes, we want you to enjoy the class while you’re doing it.
Because professional training doesn’t have to feel like punishment.
It can be useful.
It can be practical.
It can be engaging.
It can even be funny.
And apparently, it can involve cats.
